Hello! I'm Harsh Gupta.
I completed my MBA from Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, USA. I am passionate about investing and have been fascinated with the financial markets ever since my teenage years. Since 2015, I have been a full-time investor in the financial markets. Currently I manage my family’s portfolio. Through my website, I intend to share my 15+ years of experience of managing money.
The purpose of my blog is to reflect and present my views on whatever is going on in the Indian economy and capital markets. My approach to understanding money management and managing investments is primarily based on direct equity – stocks with a strong focus on risk management. Of course, other forms of financial assets such as debt and mutual funds also have an important role to play in our portfolios, but I strongly believe that direct equity investments are the key to benefit from a growing India. In today’s age of WhatsApp university and a deluge of information and misinformation, my purpose is to simplify money management focused on risk conscious direct equity investing by separating the signal from the noise in an easy to understand and heartful manner.
Please note that I am currently not a SEBI registered research analyst or investment advisor. This blog is just a reflection of my views and thoughts on the Indian economy and capital markets. In no way is any content of this blog to be considered as endorsements. Investing in the capital markets is risky and I strongly advise you to reach out to a professional investment advisor for any investment related advice.
Keeping this in mind, dig in and read about my insights on investing and managing money in India.
